It's easy to create an obstacle course - and fun, too! You'll want to ask your friends to help you.

First, you'll need to gather materials. Good things for this project include anything you have to climb over, crawl under, or maneuver around. For example, take 6 shoe boxes and place them in a straight line, then place one or two kitchen chairs on the course, and a stack of pillows. Then get two sticks to show the start and finish lines.

Start by weaving right, then left through the shoe boxes. Continue by crawling under the chairs, and crawling (or jumping) over the pillows. At the finish line, show a skill that you've learned in class before you can cross (like three round kicks).

Want to add a few more things? Station a friend somewhere along the course with a pillow. As you run the course, you must duck under the pillow as it swings your way. Or add two more shoeboxes at the end of the course. Before crossing the finish line, you must put a foot in each one and "skate" to the end of the course. Whatever you choose, be safe and creative - the only limit is your imagination!
